Explore Your Area: Newfoundland's Kittiwake Coast by Matt Howlett

Running along the Eastern side of the island, the Kittiwake coast winds alongside the ocean, offering views that would make any photographer want to stop and explore. In the town of Templeman, I met Pat Kean who gave me a tour of his newly-built stage, complete with lobster traps, small rig fishing gear, and fresh cod fillets laid out to dry. Two doors down, I met three older gentlemen who, after giving me permission to explore their property, told me to join them in the shed for a beer (lol...gotta love Newfoundlanders).
